Special Needs Care
For parents or family members, taking care of a child who has special needs can be a challenge. A day care program with special needs care services can prevent caregiver burnout through respite care. This allows family members to go to work, to school or do daily tasks while their loved one is safe with us at Hope Health Adult Day Care.
We work closely with family members and doctors to deliver special needs care that will safeguard and maintain our patients’ developmental health.
Our care staff takes care of children with the following conditions:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Hearing Impairment
- Brain Injury
- Down Syndrome
- Mental Retardation
- ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
- Communication Difficulties
- Language Delays
- Cognitive Delays
- Dyslexia; and
- many other similar conditions.
We can also meet with you and your family to discuss developmental health issues and how best to handle them at home. There are educational materials and support services that our day care can give you access to so you can cope with your loved one’s special needs.
To our clients, we promote independence, self-direction, self-care and continuous learning. If you or someone you know could benefit from our Special Needs Care Services, please give us a call at 816-569-6360.
